Is your driveway an open invitation?

Without a physical barrier, your driveway is fair game for anyone looking for a free parking spot. Fold-down bollards give you instant control over who parks where — no confrontation required.

  • Cars blocking your driveway

Neighbours, visitors, and delivery trucks park across your driveway. You can't get in or out — and towing takes hours.

  • Shared driveway disputes

In shared driveways, unclear boundaries lead to arguments. A physical barrier removes the ambiguity.

  • No protection when you're away

When you leave for work, your spot is a free-for-all. A lockable barrier keeps it reserved 24/7.

Expert Advice — Driveway Protection

For residential driveways, fold-down bollards are ideal — they lock upright to block access, then fold flat when you drive through. For wider driveways (4m+), install two bollards spaced 1.5m apart to block both tyre tracks.

Recommended Spacing

Single driveway: 1 bollard centred. Double driveway (4m+): 2 bollards at 1.5m spacing to block both tyre tracks.

Impact Rating

Deterrent-grade — prevents parking and low-speed encroachment. Not rated for high-speed impact resistance.

Expert Advice

Common questions about driveway protection — answered by our team.

What's the best bollard for a residential driveway?

A fold-down bollard (with key lock or keyed-alike in pairs) is the most popular choice. It stays upright to block the driveway when you're away, then folds flat to the ground when you drive in/out.

Will a bollard damage my driveway surface?

No. Our bollards use a bolt-down base plate with 4 heavy-duty Dyno Bolts (included FREE). Drill 4 holes in your concrete or paver driveway and the base sits flush. No major surface damage.

Can I install a bollard on a shared driveway?

Yes — but check your strata by-laws or get written agreement from co-owners first. Keyed-alike sets are perfect for shared driveways: every household gets a key that works the same barrier.
